BDCOM POL Solution
Passive Optical Network (PON) is a point-to-multipoint (P2MP) architecture for a passive optical network, consisting of three components: OLT (Optical Line Terminal), ODN (Optical Distribution Network), and ONU (Optical Network Unit).
Passive Optical LAN (POL) is an enterprise local area network based on PON technology, providing integrated data, voice, video, and other low-voltage services to users through fiber optics.
Upgrading network cables to Passive Optical LAN (POL) is extremely convenient. For retrofitting old networks, POL simplifies the construction process by utilizing existing wiring, thereby enhancing enterprise management efficiency.
Fiber optics can provide bandwidth and speed options such as GPON, 10GPON, and 100GPON. Fiber optics have a longer lifespan compared to regular copper cables. POL is easy to manage and maintain, requiring only one device for up to 5000 network ports. Traditional switch-based networks required a data center on every two floors of a multi-story building. Now, automation management can be achieved with just one device.
BDCOM has introduced the Passive Optical LAN (POL) Solution for office buildings, smart parks, smart campuses, healthcare environments, smart hotels, and other markets. From complexity to simplicity, from design to operation and maintenance, from traditional to upgraded, the journey to an exquisite life begins with a BDCOM POL network...
